Welcome!
The Leeds Tennis League has been in existence since 1964, when it was set up by 6 local clubs to give them the opportunity to play competitive mixed doubles.
It has since expanded, and in 2008 the league now comprises nearly 90 teams, playing mixed, medley, mens, ladies and junior tennis. In addition, there’s an indoor winter medley league, which plays at Leeds Metropolitan University’s Carnegie Tennis Centre, with 15 competing teams, and the Leeds Tennis Singles League, which is open to all.
The league is run by a team of volunteers, supported by Leeds City Council, with financial support from the Lawn Tennis Association.
So in short - plenty of opportunities to play, singles or doubles, however old or good you are!
